Exam 2019 Continued

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  I hope you find it informative and that it answers all questions you may have.  I have highlighted below: 2018 results, our new Vision and Values 2018/20, School Development Plan and the changes to our School Behaviour Policy.

Exam Results 2019

I would like to congratulate all of the students who we welcomed back on the 22nd August to share their results with them. There were so many happy faces and it was a pleasure to see them achieve the results they need to move forward to their next adventure. We wish them all a fantastic future and a long and happy life!

65.2% achieved a pass in English and 53.7% achieved a pass in Maths. We are delighted that many of our pupils achieved grade 7 or above results in some of their subjects.

The school is happy to announce, once again, results across key subject areas have remained high. There were exceptional results in Biology (95.7%), Chemistry (100%), Physics (100%), French (70.6%), Computer Science (90%), Design Engineer Construct (100%) and Drama (77.8%) at Grade 4 or higher.

In addition to this, the school has seen outstanding success rates for the highest grades. A grade 7 is equivalent to a grade A. We were extremely pleased at Philips High that this year over a 10% of our students have received results at this level and higher.

We wish every student well in their future adventures. Results don’t just appear without hard work, dedication and good teaching. Thank you to everyone involved in our results this year.
