Testing Over Easter
29th March 2021

26th March 2021

Dear Parent/Carer,
Following the success of the asymptomatic testing programme on the return to school, it is vital to keep testing at home throughout the Easter holidays and into the summer term. Your child will need to continue to do the following:

  •  Test twice a week at home from now on
  • Report results online to ‘Track and Trace’ as positive, negative or void using this link:

https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result?utm_source=23%20March%202021%20C19&utm_medium=Daily%20Email%20C19&utm_campaign=DfE%20C19

This information is critical in helping the Government to understand the prevalence of the virus across the country.

  • Continue to test twice weekly over the Easter holidays
  • Test before returning to school for the summer term, either the night before, or morning of, the first day back, to find and isolate any positive cases.

If your son/daughter tests positive using a home testing kit, they must attend an official testing site for a confirmatory test. At the same time, please inform school immediately of the positive home test result and that you are awaiting the result of a confirmatory test result. Your child and your household must self-isolate immediately and continue to do so for a further 10 days, unless the confirmatory test result is negative.
